Interlibrary Loan Request Form

If the Library does not own a copy of an item, you can request that we borrow the item from another library in Ontario.

Are there any restrictions?

We are unable to provide the following types of materials through the Interlibrary Loan program. Please see the Suggest a Title Purchase form as an alternative. 

• New books under five years old 
• eBooks and online resources

Please note the following limitations:

• A limit of five (5) requests per month.
• One title per request form.
• Requests usually take approximately four to six weeks to fill, and requests filled from outside of Ontario often take longer.
• We cannot guarantee fulfillment by a certain date.
• Items borrowed through Interlibrary Loan cannot be renewed.
• Replacement fees still apply to Interlibrary Loan material.
